INTRODUCING“MUSOMAGIC OUTBACK TRACKS”
MusoMagic proudly partners with Imparja Television to present an indigenous-themed ‘Video Hits’ style series with a difference, ‘MusoMagic Outback Tracks’ will showcase songs and videos created in remote outback communities, highlighting the positive aspects of the locations and celebrating the youth and their efforts.
Health, family, relationships and community issues are concurrent themes throughout the songs and videos, which the community youth bring to life as the writers and stars of the songs and videos.
The weekly half-hour spots will be directed by MusoMagic Creator and ARIA award-winning singler/songwriter Adam Thompson, and hosted by two young rising stars. Each spot is to feature four or five video clips, surrounded by highlight segments from the communities as well as thematic content.
Backed by Imparja’s prevailing vision and philosophy to positively promote Aboriginal culture and ideals, ‘Musomagic Outback Tracks’ aims to:
– engage youth in regional and remote communities where musomagic currently works
– expand MusoMagic program reach to encompass regional and remote communities in additional states
– showcase achievements, culture, values and issues of regional and remote communities through targeted collaboration via music
– provide opportunities for indigenous youth to gain experience in media and production, as well as in presenting and articulating their pride in culture and country.
